The Next Generation
Kikambala, Kenya

Fostering Development through Education
The first Secondary School in Kikambala village. Designed and built with a vision to create a hub for development, employment and innovation that is inspired by and serves the entire community. Our mission is to empower — nurturing the next generation of changemakers rooted in tradition and equipped for the future. By blending academic excellence with sustainability, CARM creates a space where learning is deeply connected to the land, people, and stories that shape us.
Consciously Designed
Nestled in the heart of our vibrant community, CARM is a unique secondary school in Kenya built through the collective vision of local residents, educators, and artisans. Designed with the community and for the community, the school stands as a living canvas of local talent, culture, and creativity. From its architecture to its curriculum, every aspect of CARM reflects the rich heritage and diverse artistry of the region. The walls echo with the voices of local storytellers, the classrooms are adorned with murals painted by community artists, and students are encouraged to explore their identity through music, dance, crafts, and language.
Proposed Sustainability Initiatives
Born from a deep partnership between the local community and a passionate team of educators and changemakers, the school was founded on Four Guiding Pillars: Education, Environmental Conservation, Quality of Life, and Economic Development. CARM has launched visionary projects that honor local wisdom while driving long-term development. Every classroom, garden, and initiative reflects the shared dream of a thriving, educated, and self-sustaining future.
